Hello! My name is Mrs. Shepherd-Logan. Until just a year ago when I moved to St. Clair, I was a life-long resident of Richmond. I have been teaching in the Richmond schools since 1974. Teaching in Richmond has been very rewarding not only because I believe we have some of the best students in the world, but also because I have had the privilege of teaching at every grade level, k-12. I am currently the computer teacher at Richmond Middle School. I received my Bachelor and Master Degree from Oakland University,Early Childhood Certification from University of Michigan and my Educational Specialist Degree from Wayne State University.       This year we have computer/technology classes for 7th and 8th grade students as well as a ten week Web Design Class for 7th graders. In addition to my teaching responsabilities I am the Student Council Advisor, Newsletter Web Designer, talent show director, and Richmond Education Association building representative.      I am married with two daughters. My husband owns and operates Logan Pattern and Engineering in Port Huron, Michigan and my eldest daughter is a graduate of Western Michigan University and is currently the Assistant Account Executive for Dodge Truck-Durango and Nitro at BBDO Detroit. My second daughter is an engineering student at the University of Michigan.      For many years I enjoyed skiing with my family and have skied in Colorado, Canada, Montana, Utah and of course Michigan. I also love reading, knitting, riding horses,interior design and most of all, teaching. I feel very blessed to have worked my entire life at a profession that is so rewarding and one that I truly love.
