Kindergarten 2008-2009

Lee Elementary will be offering three Kindergarten choices for the 2008/2009 school year. We will continue to offer the regular half day program as well as two extended day programs.

R-Kids

This is an extended day program where your child will spend the entire day with a certified teacher. Students will learn the regular kindergarten curriculum with additional support and extension activities that supplement the regular curriculum. The cost for this program is $3,000 for the childcare portion of the program.

Kinderday Learning Center

This is also an extended day program where your child will participate in the regular half-day kindergarten program. The second half of the day will be spent with a Child Development Associate teacher. This part of the program is licensed as childcare and is restricted to children who are 5 years old by September 2, 2008. The cost of this program is $800 for the childcare portion of the program.

*Both extended day programs are prepay only. Space in each program may be limited so sign-up as soon as possible.

Kroger Gift Card Fundraising Program

This fundraiser is underway and if you are a Kroger shopper, you can help earn money for our schools by purchasing a Kroger Gift Card and start recharging it to earn us 5% back. Forms have gone home, but if you didn't receive one you can pick up a form and a card in the Lee School Office. Gift cards are preloaded with $5 and you pay $5 for the card so there is no out of pocket expense to you. You will recharge the card at any of the cashiers at the store with your usual form of payment and then use the gift card to pay for your purchases. Groceries, Gas and Pharmacy are all included. For more information, visit the Lee office or call Laura at 727-4894 or Sherri 727-4490.

As of January 7, 2007 all parents and volunteers who help out in the classrooms or chaperone field trips will be required to fill out a volunteer registration form.  The information will be used to run an ICHAT background check through the State Police (at no cost to you). Please turn in your volunteer registration form to your child's teacher or the office as soon as possible.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact Mr. May at 727-2509.
