Mr. Benoit is entering his third year as Principal of Will L. Lee Elementary. Prior to his role as Principal he served as the Assistant Principal at Richmond Middle school for five years. Mr. Benoit has a Bachelors Degree in Social Science from Central Michigan University. His Masters Degree is in Educational Leadership, with a concentration in Principalship, from Saginaw Valley State University. Mr. Benoit lives in Richmond and has a ten year old son. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, going up north, playing hockey, and spending time with his son. He has been coaching high school softball for the past twenty eight years.

Assistant Principal - Christopher May

Mr. May is in his second year as Assistant Principal at Will L. Lee Elementary. He was a 2nd Grade teacher for seven years in the Anchor Bay School District prior to coming to Richmond. Mr. May has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Michigan State University, a master's degree in teaching from Wayne State University, and an education specialist degree in school administration from Oakland University.

Mr. May lives in New Baltimore with his wife Katie, a stay at home mom, and their daughter Anne who will be one year old in September. He enjoys outdoor activities like fishing and hunting. Mr. May also enjoys spending time with his family and reading in his free time.
