Any time a custodian must come in/stay
late to accommodate a group a fee will be assessed.

activities are suspended during holiday breaks, any snow days or other days
when
school is
not in session.
3. Richmond
Community School activities are of first priority when scheduling. Realize
that there might be situations where your group using the facilities
may get bumped.

groups must be conscientious of leaving the facility how they found the
facility. Using the facility is a privilege. All trash, bottles, wrappers,
tape, etc…. must be disposed of in either a trash barrel inside or outside
of the building. If you are throwing away perishable materials i.e. food,
you must discard the material in the outside dumpster. Your cooperation is
appreciated!

RULES, REGULATIONS & FEE SCHEDULE
1. State law
prohibits smoking in any school facility. Adults may smoke outside after
6:00 p.m.
in
designated areas.
2. Alcoholic
beverages shall not be brought to or consumed in or on school property at
any time.
3. No activity
shall be permitted in which open flames are used unless approved by the fire
department
of the governmental unit in which the facilities are located.
4. All persons
or groups using school facilities shall be responsible for the proper
supervision,
control,
and accommodation of persons attending the activity.
5. The
Richmond Schools, Board of Education or its representatives must have access
in order
to conduct
official school business.
6. All persons
or groups using school facilities shall comply with any special regulations
such as
moving and
storing equipment, arranging sound and other electrical equipment, safety
precautions, etc...that apply only to the building they are using.
7. In the
absence of any professional employee of the school district, school
facilities shall be
under the
direct control of the attending custodian.
8. All persons
or groups shall assume all liabilities for damages which may occur in, on,
or
about any
Richmond Community School District facilities while said persons or groups
are
using
those facilities when damage to property or injury to persons is the result
of either the
acts of
neglects of the user or their agents, servants, and employees.
Consistent with this
persons
or groups shall provide the district with a copy of liability insurance, as
necessary, in order to reserve and use district facilities.
9. Persons or
groups who fail to live up to the policies and regulations established by
the
Superintendent of Schools shall subject themselves to forfeiture of all
privileges of future use
of
Richmond Community School district facilities.
FEE SCHEDULE:
School
facilities shall be available free of charge to Richmond Community
non-profit groups devoted to the welfare of youth or to the welfare of the
community. If the event occurs when custodians are not normally on duty
and custodial services are required, a custodial charge will be assessed.
